A Brazilian woman was beaten to death last Monday (13), in the city of Marche-en-Famenne, in the region of Wallonia, Belgium. The victim was identified as Silvilene Rocha, 37 years old. The main suspect of the crime was arrested immediately after the attack and remains detained after confessing the murder, according to Belgian TV Lux. Another Brazilian, still without identification, was seriously injured.
A woman from Minas Gerais died in Marche-en-Famenne. The other Brazilian woman is hospitalized. The Brazilian Foreign Ministry says it is providing consular assistance to the survivor and the victim's family; an investigation is underway to determine the motive for the crime.
