In the European Commission, the debate on laws related to EU macroeconomic assistance (IFS) is closely monitored because this is part of the FIP claims, and the EC official Balash Wywari has stated.
The European Commission notes that due to the delay in the adoption of critical laws in the Ukrainian parliament, not only internal transformations in the country were at risk, but also further funding under macro-financial support programs from the EU.
Ukraine may lose funds from the next tranche of macro-financial assistance from the European Union if it does not change the law in line with the European Commission's guidelines.
