Good Housekeeping Institute testers evaluated 19 flower delivery services over two years to identify the best options for Mother's Day 2025.
The evaluation occurred because Mother's Day is one of the busiest flower sales periods, and shoppers often find choosing bouquets overwhelming.
The Bouqs Company ranked best overall with arrangements costing $60 to $80, while 1-800-Flowers was the best value with prices from $40, and Farmgirl Flowers offered unique blooms priced $60 to $150.
Eva Bleyer, lead analyst, said Bouqs’ flowers “lasted the longest” and praised local flowers for being fresher and holding up better, adding that delivery costs vary with arrangement size, flower type, and fees.
The findings suggest buyers can select floral arrangements within budgets and extend bloom life by trimming stems and changing water every few days, with customer services often providing helpful support or better arrangements.
