Bell sells its stake in MLSE to Rogers for $4.7B

Rogers Communications has acquired Bell Canada Enterprises' 37.5% stake in Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment for $4.7 billion, creating a majority stake in Canada's largest sports conglomerate.
"MLSE is one of the most prestigious sports and entertainment organizations in the world," stated Tony Staffieri, CEO of Rogers.
Bell expects the sale to finalize in mid-2025 and will maintain broadcast rights for 50% of Leafs' and Raptors' games.
