Nigeria: Bandits Kill Man, Abduct Wife, Children, Others in Kaduna Community
Soldiers and vigilantes rescued one abducted woman, but the attackers escaped with her four children and other victims, local officials said.

- Local vigilantes alerted soldiers, who traced attackers to the Eastern Bypass area and rescued Maman Mubarak, though her four children remained in captivity.
- Vigilante commander Usman Adamu confirmed nine abductions and said operations to recover those still held remain focused on their safety. Attempts to reach Kaduna State Police Command's Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansur Hassan, were unsuccessful.
- This attack follows a recent incident in nearby Kadaure where suspected bandits killed a resident and rustled his cows, reflecting escalating insecurity across the region.
