At UPSI, Ten Academics Skipped the Two-Year Book Deal and Published in 48 Hours Instead
Ten first-time authors finished and published books in 48 hours through a UPSI workshop led by Dr. Izdihar Jamil.
On July 12, ten participants at Sultan Idris Education University completed and published full-length books through the "Write Your Book In A Weekend" workshop held over two days.
Associate Professor Dr. Suzani Mohamad Samuri, Deputy Dean, organized the workshop because faculty struggled with slow academic publishing requirements that left research unread in repositories for years.
Dr. Izdihar Jamil led the training using her "Author Accelerator Method," a three-stage system—Structure, Content, and Execution—that guided all ten participants through manuscript completion within 48 hours.
Senior English language instructor Thilaga Ravinthar transformed her PhD thesis into "From Silent Classrooms to Employable Graduates," making her research immediately available to other educators instead of sitting unread.
Dr. Izdihar Jamil has now guided more than 300 leaders, entrepreneurs, and academics through the Author Accelerator Method, proving independent publishing through Lulu lets researchers retain full control over their work.
