Arc Raiders New Update Is Bad News for PvP Players - Patch Notes
A recent update introduced simple glitches allowing players to infinitely duplicate ammo and repair weapons, risking progression balance during the two-week event, according to player reports.
- Arc Raiders' community flagged today that weapon-repair and infinite-ammo duplication glitches surfaced during the Shared Watch event running through February 24, 2026.
- By rapidly switching weapons between two slots, players exploit the inventory swap bug to increase weapon condition and then drop and re-pick ammo to make the repair stick.
- Using weapons like the Anvil and Venator reveals the swap trick loads 102 bullets in guns meant for six and 22 rounds, while the Bobcat inflates from 35 to 102, breaking balance with scarce ammo.
- Developer-first: Embark Studios now faces pressure to roll out an emergency hotfix as players risk infinite ammo and selling duplicated bullets to in-game traders, threatening PvP balance.
- After a calm stretch since end of 2025, social amplification via @genos and community accounts accelerated awareness today, while the Shared Watch event offers Merits for more than 20 rewards until February 24, 2026.
