At the swearing-in ceremony, which took place this Saturday, the new Attorney General of the Republic promised to follow closely the fight against corruption and the reasons for the delay of some investigations. Amadeu Guerra wants to involve more of the Judicial Police. 
The new PGR also considered that the predecessor, Lucília Gago, did not have an easy mandate, defining “red lines”.
