The newborn was found alive this Sunday in Wittelsheim (Haut-Rhin), reports L'Alsace. An investigation has been opened. The 19-year-old will be heard soon.
Mulhouse's public prosecutor's office opens an investigation after the discovery of a baby in the Wittelsheim forest on Sunday, June 7. The little boy is fine, as is his mother, who is taken care of by the rescue in a state of shock.
A 19-year-old woman reportedly gave birth on Sunday morning, 7 June, on the edge of the forest, or dropped off her newborn, not far from her parents' home where she resides in Wittelsheim. The baby was found in good health. She was a witness who gave the alert. The child and the mother were taken care of by the firefighters. An investigation was opened by the Mulhouse Public Prosecutor's Office.
