The World Bank has failed to record up to $41 billion (€37.7 billion) in climate finance due to poor accounting. That is almost 40 percent of all climate funds disbursed by the bank over the past seven years, according to a report by Oxfam published on Thursday ahead of the World Bank and IMF annual meetings in Washington D.C.

De Wereldbank heeft door slechte boekhouding tot 41 miljard dollar (37,7 miljard euro) aan klimaatfinanciering niet geregistreerd.
