Almost 1000 NSW teachers were asked if screens helped students learn. Only 53 per cent said yes

The Macquarie University-led survey found 84% of high school students were distracted by screens and 53% of teachers said devices helped learning.

While students say screens are beneficial for learning, teachers note they are distracting for students and impair their social interaction.
