AgriStability interim benefit increase announced for Sask. producers

The federal and provincial governments have agreed to increase the 2021 AgriStability interim benefit payment percentage from 50 per cent to 75 per cent for Saskatchewan producers. "My heart goes out to those farmers and ranchers feeling the impacts of the drought.  We are working closely with provinces to get farm families the support they need as soon as possible," said Federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Marie-Claude Bibeau.
