The Court of Auditors sentenced six people in charge of the computer programme for the drafting of criminal proceedings "Scribe", intended for the police, to 18,000 euros.
The programme, which was intended to enable the police and gendarmerie to draft criminal procedures on a common tool, was arrested after six years of hijacking for financial damage amounting to more than EUR 30 million.
This software, called Scribe, was intended to facilitate the drafting of criminal proceedings by the police. Abandoned after six years of wandering, the project amounted to a cost of € 257 million.

A fiasco whose total cost was estimated at 257 million euros in public money. The Court of Auditors, which holds a financial loss of 30.21 million euros, has just punished six project officials with fines ranging from one euro to 6,000 euros.
