A significant increase is recorded in the participation of adults aged 25 to 64 in formal and non-formal education or training programs within the European Union.
The number of adults who, in 2025, received any type of education in the European Union (EU) increased to 13.7%, compared to 10.1% in 2015, with Portugal above the average (16.4%), according to data released today by Eurostat.
