- On Wednesday the market reopened at 8 a.m. for the first time since last week's tragedy, with plywood still covering part of the storefront and a growing memorial outside the Westwood market.
- LADBS inspectors found the building yellow-tagged for damage but without structural instability, and store officials said they consulted 'the appropriate agencies' before reopening, according to a statement quoted by KTLA5.
