68-Year-Old Client Qualifies for the Boston Marathon Using Training Principles from The Dietrich Method, a System Built for Men Over 50
Scott Pollock’s result highlights a recovery-focused training system built for men 50 to 75 and now offered online nationwide.
Scott Pollock, 68, qualified for the Boston Marathon using training principles from The Dietrich Method, a system built specifically for men aged 50 to 75.
Developed by a natural competitive bodybuilder with more than 30 years of experience, The Dietrich Method prioritizes recovery over volume rather than the high-intensity training conventional programs demand.
"When a 68-year-old man qualifies for the Boston Marathon, it proves that age is not the limiting factor," the trainer said. The program centers on one working set to failure per exercise followed by extended recovery.
Previously limited to Evanston, Illinois, via Get Fit Methods LLC, the platform transitioned to a fully online model, enabling men across the United States to access the same programming.
The system targets men aged 50 to 75 who are often underserved by conventional fitness programs, with the brand planning to expand offerings as demand increases among its demographic.
