Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda has written to the Transport Minister Byrathi Suresh urging him to increase the penalty for riding motor vehicles on footpaths from the existing ₹500 to ₹5,000.
Bengaluru Footpath fine: Following the clearance of encroachment on footpaths in Bengaluru, Minister Krishna Byre Gowda has now taken up another important task. He has written a letter to the Transport Minister to increase the fine imposed on riding a bike on the footpath from Rs 500 to Rs 5000.
