BENSON, N.C. (WNCN) — An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged in the murder of an Uber driver in Benson over the weekend, according to the Johnston County Sheriff's Office. At approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a suspicious person in the 2500 block of Holly Grove Road in Benson. Around the same time, the North Carolina Highway Patrol was also contacted about a vehicle with its flashers on at the same location.
