Three years have passed since Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) began releasing treated water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the ocean on the 24th. To date, approximately 172,700 tons have been discharged in 22 batches, reducing the amount stored in tanks by 7.6% to approximately 1,243,400 tons.
