The European textile industry is asking the European Commission to introduce a fee of 10 euros for small packages arriving in the European Union, and most of such shipments come from China.

At the same time, the organization believes that revenues from higher customs duties should be directed to strengthening customs controls, instead of becoming part of the general budget of the European Commission.
