NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — This past Saturday, November 23, the 10th annual Hunger Heroes with United Way of Greater New Bedford brought the community together to prepare 1,000 Thanksgiving meals for families in need. Today, the final stage is underway as these meals are loaded onto the hunger commission truck and delivered to families across greater New Bedford. ABC6 joined the organization before they made their way out.
