26-year-old Spaniard Jorge Martin (Ducati-Pramac) crowned MotoGP world champion in Barcelona on Sunday. A third place in the Catalan final race was sufficient for that. Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) won the Barcelona Grand Prix. Spaniard Marc Marquez (Ducati-Gresini) finished second at 1,474. Martin, who had to finish in the top ten to secure the world title in every scenario, finished at 3,810.
