Six people were kidnapped from Borobreka relief camp after an encounter between militants and security forces. Two days later, three bodies were recovered near the confluence of Jiri River and Barak River on the Manipur-Assam border. On Saturday evening, protesters gathered at Keishampat Junction in the capital Imphal to protest against this kidnapping and murder and raised slogans against the Biren Singh government.
