CURRY COUNTY, Oregon — Around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, Oregon State Police responded to a crash on Highway 101 near milepost 358 in Curry County. Police say the pedestrian, James Lorin Tavel, 39, of Brookings, was struck in the northbound lane by a Honda CRV driven by Tiffany Lyne Kemp, 34, of Brookings.
