A former Middleborough resident has been sentenced to two years’ probation for embezzling nearly $40,000 from a Lakeville union over the course of nearly a decade, the Massachusetts U.S. District Attorney’s Office said. Oregon resident Andrea Anderson, 61, previously pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement from a labor union, the U.S. Attorney’s office said in a press release. She was sentenced in federal court on Monday.
