Work begins on controversial warehouse development near A419
Swindon Gateway logistics centre to be built near Aldi in Abbey Meads. The development was approved by Swindon Borough Council in December 2021. But work could not start until improvements to the A419 northbound offslip were made. This was to ensure the safe and free flow of traffic on the trunk road.
