Long ago, there was a ranch on the Shimousa Plateau in northern Chiba Prefecture. The ranch has nothing to do with the Yokohama DeNA Baystars, and is simply a horse ranch. The Shimousa Plateau was originally covered with several meters of Kanto Loam, a red soil made from volcanic ash.
