31.10.2025 - The ancient Egyptians ran an efficiently organised health service which was open to everyone, irrespective of wealth or class, University of Manchester Egyptologists say. Professor Rosalie David and Dr Roger Forshaw show in their book, published by Liverpool University Press in paperback this month, how Western medical practice owes a debt of thanks to the Ancient Egyptians.
