- On Tuesday, U.S. Central Command said the Ninth Air Force launched a multi-day drill to showcase the ability to deploy, disperse, and sustain air combat operations across Centcom's area.
- Amid a regional buildup, U.S. forces increased presence following USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group arrival amid escalating tensions with Iran and unrest marked by the rial trading at around 1,077,500.
- Small teams will deploy to multiple contingency locations to practise swift setup, aircraft launch and recovery using lean support packages with host nations and civil/military aviation authorities, CENTCOM said.
