What the Netherlands has long feared has now actually happened: Microsoft has passed on data belonging to Dutch civil servants to the US government. This is cause for concern, the Cabinet agrees. However, for the time being, it is doing no more than contacting the ambassador.

Microsoft has reportedly shared the names of Dutch civil servants working for two regulatory agencies with the U.S. House of Representatives.
