Update: Weather alert announced for gusty winds in Northwest Pa. until Sunday afternoon

The National Weather Service issued an updated weather alert at 4:48 a.m. on Sunday for gusty winds until 1 p.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie as well as Crawford County."Winds will shift to the southwest behind a cold front this morning, resulting in periodic wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph through the early afternoon. Secure outdoor objects, especially holiday decorations," according to the weather service.
