Ukraine drone attack targets Moscow for second night in row, Russia says
- On Tuesday, Ukraine targeted Moscow with drone attacks for a second straight night, the Russian defence ministry and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed.
- The Russian Ministry of Defense said today it intercepted nearly 200 drones amid a renewed large-scale overnight campaign, following the previous night when 193 Ukrainian drones were intercepted.
- Between 11 p.m. on October 27 and 7 a.m. on October 28, Russian air defence units destroyed 17 Ukrainian drones, including 13 over Kaluga Region and three over Bryansk Region.
- Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz said one civilian was hospitalised and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported emergency services were dispatched after residents near Ramenskoye and Bronnitsy heard explosions.
