- On Monday, the probe widened with the arrest of eight people, including a chairman of a top-tier club, and the suspension of 1,024 players from all leagues as matches in the second- and third-tier leagues were suspended for two weeks.
- TFF President Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu called the episode a `moral crisis in Turkish football`, and investigators found some individuals had bet only once.
