Torrance residents ask for more regulations on outdoor smoking

Torrance residents want the City Council to take action when it comes to the prevalence of secondhand smoke. According to a survey conducted by Behavioral Health Services (BHS), a nonprofit in Torrance, 80% of Torrance residents reported being exposed to secondhand smoke or aerosols in outdoor areas and 90% of residents believe there should be tighter restrictions on smoking in outdoor areas.
