Thorntonhall railway bridge to be upgraded

Network Rail NETWORK Rail is to begin work on the upgrade of the railway bridge at Peel Road in Thorntonhall on October 5. Engineers will raise the parapets during the next five weeks, with the work – part of the £140 million East Kilbride enhancement project – due to be completed by November 8.
