Theatre Sarnia opens its new season Wednesday

Summary by Ground News
Theatre Sarnia launches its first full season since the pandemic began with a play this week recreating Orson Welles' infamous 1938 War of the Worlds broadcast. The Panic Broadcast, by Joe Landry, opens Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., at the Imperial Theatre and runs evenings through Oct. 1. The play is set at radio station WBFR and includes live ads plus jingles sung by the Petrolia trio, Sisters of Choice. All of the Foley sound effects are all done on stage, with no pre-recorded sound effects.
