The report of the Permanent Household Survey (EPH) of the first semester of 2025 revealed the financial collapse of the social base. 40% of households had to liquidate their savings to face the day-to-day.

"19.9% of households resorted to the use of savings in 2003, while in 2025 that value climbed to 37.4%. Bank and financial lending strategies increased by 10.8 percentage points and the use of credit card or payment in trust increased by 28.9 percentage points between 2003 and 2025," said Indec.
