East of Atlanta sits the largest Confederate memorial ever built. On the side of Georgia’s Stone Mountain is a massive bas-relief sculpture of Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson, three of the Confederacy’s most important officers.
