The famous Gwynedd painting said to hide the devil's face in plain sight

'Salem' was painted in 1908 by English painter Sydney Curnow Vosper. It depicts a scene in Capel Salem, in Pentre Gwynfryn in Gwynedd. In the fold of her shawl - if you really look - a demonic face can be made out. The painting was purchased by the National Library of Wales in October 2019.
