The Thalia for best performances in drama is headed to Prague and Ostrava.
This year, Dočkalová succeeded with the role of Olja in the production of Máma by the Divadlo pod Palmovkou in Prague, and among her male colleagues in the drama, Petr Panzenberger received the award for his portrayal of Roman in The Gingerbread Man by Studio G in Ostrava. The Thalia Award for Best Female Performance in a Drama was won today by Tereza Dočkalová. She succeeded with the role of Olja in the production of Máma by the Divadlo pod Palmovkou in Prague. The Thalia Award for Best Male Performance in a Drama goes to Studio G in Ostrava. It was received by Petr Panzenberger for his portrayal of Roman in Gingerbread Man. The award for artists under 33 years of age was then won by actor Viktor Zavadil.
The Thalia awards, which highlight stage performances of the past season, were presented at the National Theatre. Tereza Dočkalová and Monika Absolonová received their second Thalias. Thanks to the performances of Federico Ievoli and Romina Contrerasová, the ballet drama L’Histoire de Manon was a double success at the Prague National Theatre.
