- On July 4, Citywest Church in Ingram, Texas became the heart of emergency response efforts when flooding devastated Kerr County.
- Located near Camp Mystic, Citywest Church remained unsubmerged on the only road to Camp Mystic, where lives were lost.
- In the days following the floods, the church opened its doors and grounds to first responders and volunteers, supporting rescue and relief efforts.
- Despite its pivotal role, the church has faced heavy strain, with Eric Wilfong saying `We've never experienced anything of this magnitude,` as damage has created financial strain.
