State fisheries division, Maritime Museum partner on fisheries history presentations

The presentations are part of the division's celebration of 200 years of state marine fisheries management and conservation in North Carolina. On Wednesday, March 15, the topic will be North Carolinas Oyster Boom. On April 19, it will be Re-evaluating the Origins of the N.S. Menhaden Industry. On May 17, it'll be Shrimping. On June 21, it's the Early History of North Carolina's Recreational Fishery. All four presentations will be at 11 a.m.
