On behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, attended the official opening ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum on Saturday.
The opening of the new museum, right next to the Pyramids of Giza, was also attended by Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden and Grand Duke Henri.
