LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, JUL 17 – Simon Cowell’s six-part Netflix docuseries features open casting calls and single releases to discover the next global boyband sensation, leveraging his talent show expertise.
- Simon Cowell will star in and executive produce the docuseries, Netflix announced, and it will debut in December.
- Having launched multiple chart-topping groups, Cowell’s judging résumé includes The X Factor UK, American Idol, Pop Idol, and Britain’s Got Talent.
- Produced by Syco Entertainment and Box to Box Films, led by executive producers James Gay Rees, Paul Martin, Warren Smith, and Cassie Bennet, while AJ McClean will host with judges Nicole Scherzinger, Liam Payne, and Kelly Rowland.
- Netflix renewed The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On and King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch, and set fall premiere dates for Love Is Blind, Selling Sunset, Selling the OC, and Owning Manhattan.
