Shaw school project raises money to buy books for children in hospital

Crompton House School's #WriteaSmile project encourages students to think about what makes them feel happy. Students then write down their thoughts and send them on a colourful postcard to a member of the community. Since its launch in February, students have hand-written more than 1,000 postcards to local primary schools, Oldham Hospital patients, residential homes, our church community, and one another with the hope of raising a smile.
