Rfi Theatre 2025 Winner Delivers First Poignant Play on Violence in Eastern Drc

The Congolese Israel Nzila is the winner of the RFI Theatre 2025 prize, won in October for his text Clipping, which tells the story of a surviving woman. An author who is currently presenting his first play, Silence, in his country, the DRC. Two performances are on the programme: the first took place on 13 November at the National Institute of Arts in Kinshasa, the second is held on 14 November on the stage of the French Institute.
