Return travel leads to long traffic jams in front of the south portal of Gotthard

Day trippers and holiday return travel also led to traffic jams on both sides of the Gotthard road tunnel on Sunday. Cars backed up in front of the south portal in Ticino at noon between Faido and Airolo over a length of almost ten kilometers.
