Retail sales volume is stable in August, with -0.1%

Retail sales volume was -0.1% in August compared to July. The result is better than that recorded in the two previous readings (-1.9% in June and -0.5% in July), but marks the third consecutive result with no expansion of sales in the sector. The main responsible for the result was the hyper sector, supermarkets, food products, beverages and tobacco, which rose 0.2% in comparison monthly.
