Putin sacks another military general as he takes hands-on approach to war from Moscow

Summary by Ground News
Deputy defence minister Dmitry Bulgakov was removed after a litany of failings saw Russia pushed back by Ukrainian troops in the east. The move was widely seen as a punishment for the flaws in logistical support for Russia's "special operation" in Ukraine. Bulgakov has been replaced by Mikhail Mizintsev, a 60-year-old who is under British sanctions.
