This morning, Roman Catholic priest Miloslav Fiala, a member of the Premonstratensian Order, died. He was 97 years old. The news portal www.cirkev.cz reported this on its website. In the past, he worked as a spokesman for the Czech Bishops' Conference, headed the Czech Catholic Charity, and was an editor of religious programs for the Czechoslovak and later Czech Radio. In 2022, the then President Miloš Zeman awarded him the Medal of Merit.
